RAR II Changelog History
Hello everyone!
I’ve decided to create a post with all the main changelogs since RAR II was published. I hope this results useful for someone! š
Here it goes.
Update 0.9.3504
- Added Dungeons!
- Added Crafting Recipe for Whetstone.
- Reorganized bottom navigation buttons to have the most important ones closer to the left.
- Showing Castle in map and changed Ship and Savanna tile color to distinguish them easily.
- Added a button to hide or show the shortcuts in combat.
- Added new starting Advantage: Librarian.
- The Shopās Guild and the Cartographerās Guild have arrived to an agreement and now the Island Map will be only sold by the latter.
- Improved Island Map usage.
- Fixed exploitable bug that allowed Ranger Orcs to shoot and hit first the monsters.
- Fixed blacksmith scrapping bugs.
- Fixed some translation issues.
- Fixed various minor bugs.
Update 0.9.3518
- Fixed dungeon boss item dropped bug.
- Fixed armory not having ammunition recipes (Arrows and Bolts).
- Fixed permadeath not removing game slot glitch.
- Fixed insect typo.
- Fixed accessibility button label in dungeons.

Update 0.8.3388
- Added ranged weapons (and a new starting advantage: Ranger).
- Added two shortcut buttons in the combat screen for weapon skills, spells and/or pets actions.
- Added new Food Crafting Recipe: Trail Mix.
- Added a message when arriving at a new island!
- Now the main stats can be seen in the game screen (it can be disabled in the settings menu).
- Showing percentages in status screen (showing base vs equipment stats percentage).
- Fixed craft various issues.
- Adjusting Reckoner skill a little bit.
- Fixed a couple of accessibility issues.
- Changed bottom system navigation color to black (in some devices it was white).
Update 0.7.3309
- Added Races!
- Now each Village/Town/City is from one of the different races, having price variation in the Inn/Bar/Shops depending on the race.
- Added new Skills (Weapon Learner, Reckoner, and some Race specific skillsā¦).
- Added Unarmed Mastery (with five new combat skills when attacking with no wielded weapon).
- Now the Blacksmith can be levelled up to increase the success rate of scrapping material, reduce the cost of crafting bars, and slightly improving the levelled up equipment.
- Now all Mountain and High Mountain islands have at least one Mine, and increased the chances of having one in other islands.
- Now you can share your status (both in game and cemetery screens).
- Added new secret Treasure Island!
- Now you can craft multiple items instead of having to do it one by one.
- Now you can mark and/or add info for every Island (A Cartographer Stone is needed, bought in Cartographerās shops, but itās quite cheap :D)
- Now when fleeing from a combat, the monster keeps the health and mana as it was, and regenerates every turn until full again.
- Thanks to the knowledge of the Gnomes, thereās a new crafting recipe for Gunpowder.
- Increased the necessary amount of pieces of map for the main story quest to 10. Also reduced a little bit the chance for the bosses to drop a Piece of Map.
- Added the possibility to disable crafting toast (settings).
- Added the option to change the position of the navigation buttons (settings).
- Added sorting for skills.
- Added new quotes from the Discord #quote-suggestions channel.
- Increased max. stash size to 250.
- Be able to see separated cemetery for Permadeath and No Permadeath.
- Now the Gate is closed after opening and entering it
- Fixed the Explorer item given.
- Fixed Unbreakable and Berserk skills not being reset when dying.
- A few more surprises! (And some Easter Egg :p)
- Various bugs and glitches fixed.
Update 0.6.3118

Update 0.6.3039

- Saving checkpoint islands/status properly (this should avoid weird behaviours where the player still has a pending Quest and that Villager or Merchant says itās already done.

- Fixed hunger should not increase just after eating at the Bar/Tavern

Update 0.6.2955
- Added buttons to increase or reduce the size of the minimap, and also to show or hide the output text. You can hide this buttons from the settings screen.
- Added Clear Data option for both Achievements and Collections.
- Reduced main menu top margin a little bit.
- Fixed skills tree glitch.
- Fix issue with absorbing health/mana weapon skills.
- Various small bug fixes.
Update 0.6.2931
- New post endgame contentā¦ did you obtain a mysterious object when completing the main story? Maybe you should search for a place to use itā¦
- Not sending the character to the cemetery if you erase the game.
- Added Merchant markers for discovered merchants and Master Merchant (when having at least one Merchant Mark in the inventory) on the map
- Changed Wool name to Cashmere
- Fixed crafting equipment with blacksmith skill not setting the item price.
- Fixed language changing bug in some Android version.
- Added a few special possible names for villagers. There are little chances for them to appear, but there they are :)

Update 0.4.2755

Update 0.3.2639
- Fixed duplicated crafting recipes issue
- Fixed crafting Recipes lost issue (for games where the recipes are already gone, I canāt recover them, sorry for thatā¦)
- Fixed Merchant quest not being erased from the quest list when completing it

Update 0.3.2618
- Improved Blacksmith.
- Now itās a new screen with different options!
- Upgrade * items (now it’s a little bit easier and faster)
- Scrap Equipment to try to obtain materials from them (sometimes wonāt be able to obtain the original material)
- Craft bars at blacksmith in exchange for the necessary ore/s and gold (useful while you donāt know the proper crafting recipe!)
- Reduced a little bit the chances to flee (it was too easy in previous versions)
- Added “Bye” option in Villagers with Quests to not accept them (so in case you are stressed with lots of things to do, you can come back and accept them later)
- Added respawning for basic materials like plant, sand, stick, cactus, liana, and mushroom)
- Now crafting a Tool also improves the Blacksmith skill
- Added additional information in the Game Over screen to know the reason of death
- Added a death count to know how many times a non-permadeath character has died (it wonāt be able to count deaths in previous versions of the game, so, hurry up and die a lot while the update isn’t available :p)
- Lose half of your carried gold when dying in non-permadeath (I hate/love this feature)
- Made the tile damage and the hunger increase not happen while in combat
- Fixed duplicated BOSSES issue
- Fix explorer text bug
- Increase crafting materials drop from monsters probability
- Improved contents in the game to be prepared for translations (started contacting some people who offered to translate RAR in the past)
- Fixed a small game screen glitch
- Fixed issue with toasts
- Various minor fixes and adjustments, as usual :)
Update 0.2.2567

Update 0.2.2516
- Improved combat finish dialog to show experience gained by player and pet (now your active pet receives a minimum amount of experience even if it doesn’t attack during the combat).
- Receive a small amount of experience when completing a quest
- Fix typos like the āViillage" one :)
- Fixed Sense towns skill to show a random Inn in the island
- Fixed Sense bosses skill
- Dragon, Undead and Giant islands now have the proper amount of bosses
- Improved spells and skills info (130% Intelligence / 120% Attack)
- Fixed sailing issues
- Fix drops by Tyrant, Devil and Corrupted God and their chests

Update 0.2.2473
- Improved the bottom buttons UI to make it clear they are scrollable :)
- The map screen now shows your current location coordinates
- Tried to improve the music loops (even though it’s still not perfect, I hope it’s okay for now, because it’s being really difficult to find a proper solution at the moment).
- Experience potions adjustment (sell price, etc.)
- QOL - Added buttons to sort spells in spells screen
- Crafting bars now give experience for Blacksmith skill
- Avoid shop generate the same spell book twice
- Added discord link to the About section
- Fix SELL Chopping Axe issue (selling multiple tools issueā¦)
- Improve weird sorting issues in “Inventory”, “Stash” and “Shops”.
- Sort by type now includes tool types

Update 0.2.2442
- Reviewed and fixed switch pet malfunctioning.
- Fix Meditator gone not really gone.
- Various crashes fixed.
- Fix loading GameActivity / weird behaviour in Android 10
- Starting to fix sort / sell issue (still work in progress)
- Fixed crafting rarity bug (and now the Blacksmith skill improves a little bit the chances of having better rarities)
- Fix crash when “leaving the island” and a “monster” attacks you
- Fix STASH empty weird behaviour in low resolution device
- Fix Berserk skill info says it’s a 5 percent bonus when it should be 10 percent
