This policy covers Archison’s CORELOCK game.

CORELOCK has no accounts, no analytics and no advertising, and I run no server. Your records stay on your device. The only thing that can ever leave it is a leaderboard score, and only if you choose to use leaderboards.

On your device#

Your scores, statistics, puzzle progress, daily results, settings and any unfinished run are saved using each platform’s own storage. Deleting the app removes them.

On Android they are also included in Android’s backup system, so changing phone does not throw them away. That backup is between your device and your Google account — I have no access to it, and you can switch it off in your device settings.

Leaderboards: Android only, and optional#

CORELOCK offers leaderboards for its four ARCADE modes through Google Play Games Services. If you use them, your score and your Play Games identity are sent to Google and handled under Google’s Privacy Policy . I receive none of it.

You are never asked to sign in to play. If you have no Play Games profile the game will not create one for you. If you never open the leaderboards, nothing is ever submitted. PUZZLE and DAILY have no leaderboards at all.

What is not collected#

No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising or advertising identifiers, no account or email address, and no access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone or files. Nothing is sold or shared with third parties, because nothing is collected.

The app requests one permission, INTERNET, which arrives with the Play Games Services library and is used for nothing else.

Sharing a run hands a single image and a line of text to whichever app you choose. Nothing is uploaded.

The game’s ABOUT screen links out to archison.com, YouTube, Spotify and the Google Play store page. Those sites are not operated by me and have their own privacy policies, which are worth reading if you follow a link there.

Children#

CORELOCK is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. There is nothing for a child to submit: the game asks for no name, no email address and no account.

Your data#

I hold none, so there is nothing for me to export or delete. Records on your device can be cleared in the game’s settings or by uninstalling. Anything on a leaderboard belongs to your own Play Games account and can be managed there.
